The Most Expensive Bottles Of All Time Were Just Bought At Dubai Airport

This is truly mind-boggling. 

Fine wine and luxury spirit duty-free retailer Le Clos at Dubai Airports just sold two vintage whiskey bottles for a grand total of over AED4.4 million ($1.2).

And it sets the record for the most expensive bottles ever sold. A private collector reportedly made two extremely rare purchases this week.

Two extremely rare bottles of The Macallan 1926, with labels commissioned by artists Sir Peter Blake and Valerio Adami are quite possibly the most unique bottles ever sold were bought by an anonymous buyer this week.

Both bottles together worth over AED4.4 million!
