Dubai Chef Faces Court For Stabbing An Employee

A Dubai chef will face the criminal court for stabbing an employee following a heated argument.

The argument began after the chef asked the employee for a drink. The employee refused, he told the court he was forbidden to serve food or drinks to employees unless a formal request had been submitted, according to the Khaleej Times.

An argument began and reportedly resulted in the chef stabbing the employee, permanently damaging the employee’s left arm.

The chef grabbed a knife from the kitchen and used it as a weapon

The chef was unhappy with being treated the same as other employees in the restaurant, according to the report. During the argument he rushed to the kitchen, grabbed a knife and stabbed the employee, who sustained permanent damage to his arm and loss of sensation in some fingers.

Both men will face the court for insult charges.
