Dubai Civil Defence Had An ‘Outstanding Response’ To JLT Almas Tower Fire On Sunday
On Sunday, residents were swiftly evacuated from the Almas tower in JLT after plumes of smoke were seen billowing from the top.
Emergency services were quick to reach the 86-story tower, which is home to the Dubai Multi Commodities Center,DMCC.
Authorities have since commented, “Dubai Civil Defence has fully brought under control a minor fire that broke out in Almas Tower in Jumeirah Lakes Towers. The building was evacuated safely. No injuries have been reported.”
DMCC noted the fire began in the roof mast.

Further to statements released today, we confirm that a minor fire broke out on the roof mast of Almas Tower. The evacuation process was carried out safely and in an orderly manner, with no injuries reported.
