Many residents have a gripe about the cost of living in Dubai…

And judging on new information from Numbeo, a recognised crowd-sourced data review website, that gripe is not so well-informed.

In a survey of 538 cities, Dubai ranks 316 in terms of the cost of living (we recently heard price of a pint here is the most expensive in the WORLD so yup, it’s fair to be surprised we don’t rank higher).

The cost of living for a single person totals AED2,756.45 without rent.

The cost of living for a family of four equals AED9,325.46 without rent.
