A Flight From Dubai Had To Be Redirected Due To A Mechanical Failure

A flight that departed from Dubai, bound for Melbourne, Australia has been diverted mid-flight due to mechanical problems. 

The Qantas flight QF10 Airbus A380 was enroute to Melbourne but had to double-back and land in Singapore on Monday. 

It departed Dubai at 1.05am, and safely landed in Singapore after encountering mechanical issues approximately three hours into the flight.

Qantas released a statement shortly after the fact. 

“The aircraft is expected to return to service tomorrow. Customers on the flight will be booked on the next available service to their destination or provided overnight accommodation.”
