A Dubai Man With Aids Is Accused Of Raping A Woman After Following Her Home
A man is standing trial at the Dubai Court of First Instance for stalking and raping a woman.
The Emirati man is accused of following a Moroccan woman after she left a nightclub and forcing himself on her, after entering her home.
A medical report shows the 40-year-old man has AIDs and other transmittable diseases according to the Khaleej Times.
He denies all charges on the grounds that he is ill.
The woman claims she was followed to her home and raped
The case was filed at the Al Qusais police station. The 24-year-old Moroccan woman told the court the man threatened to slit her throat if she cried for help, according to the report.
The trial continues on September 23.
