BREAKING: Huge Plumes Of Smoke Coming From Dubai Marina Area
Huge plumes of smoke can be seen passing over the south side of Dubai Marina area.
The cause of the fire is unclear. Emergency services have been notified.
11.10: The fire is reportedly coming from Zen Towers, a residential Marina building.
11.40: A resident in a nearby building has reported surrounding buildings are being evacuated. Dubai Media Office reports all residents from Zen Tower were evacuated safely.
12.03: Local JBR eatery Mighty Quinn’s offering refuge: a free meal, drink, Wi-Fi and coffee *residents affected are kindly asked to provide proof of residence if you have it with you.
12.20 Dubai Media Office reports the blaze has been controlled ‘amidst extremely windy and dusty weather conditions’. No injuries reported in the fire.
