Dubai Metro Update: The RTA Has Released A Statement Regarding The Delays
Dubai metro users faced huge delays on the Red Line today after a reported glitch on the line.
The delays began at approximately 6.30am this morning. Metro stations and carriages were overcrowded as trains were held for more than four minutes at some stations.
At some stations, people were asked to leave and take another train.
Many users resorted to taxi and bus options which caused further traffic delays across the city. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) released a statement via their Twitter account
The RTA has apologised to commuters

The issue is currently being resolved
specifically between Jumeirah Lakes Towers and UAE Exchange stations, as a result of a technical fault that is currently being resolved.2/3
