‘Dream Water’ Is Being Sold In Dubai But The Municipality Hasn’t Approved It
There’s a beverage called ‘Dream Water’.
It claims to help with insomnia and is being sold through social media channels in the UAE. If you’ve been buying that stuff or consuming it, here’s what you should know: Dubai Municipality refused to register the product last year because of its ingredients. In short: they don’t want you to be drinking it.
Dubai Municipality released a statement on Instagram:
In reference to the information that was received by Dubai Municipality about Dream Water product that is being sold in the United Arab Emirates through the social media channels. This product is being known to help in solving insomnia. Dubai Municipality confirms that this product is not registered because it contains Pharmaceutical Components that are not licensed for usage except by prescriptions. Dubai Municipality asks the audience not to use the product because of its side effects.
It should be noted that Health and Safety Department at Dubai Municipality has refused to register the product last year.
