Dubai Officially Has The Fastest Ambulance Fleet In The World Thanks To These Slick New Sports Cars

Five Mustangs that can travel at up to 300/km per hour have been added to Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) fleet.

The vehicles, which are worth AED 1 million, have been modified and come equipped with basic medical equipment designed to respond to emergency calls. They have the ability to travel at a much faster pace than ordinary vehicles, therefore reaching an injured patient in record time.

Khalifa bin Derai, The Executive Director of DCAS was on hand at the International Ambulance Conference this week to explain that the vehicle is manned by an emergency paramedic team.

“It is not just a mean of transporting the patients fast, but rather a moving hospital that is operated by an emergency technical team and qualified paramedics to handle the serious injuries as it is equipped with the most sophisticated equipment in the world.”

The cars will be placed in major tourist hubs or anywhere big festivals, concerts of conferences are taking place
