Dubai Police Have Gotten A Guinness World Record And It’s Exactly Why You’d Expect
The Dubai Police have gotten into the Guinness Book of World Records this week, and it’s no surprise how they got in there – it’s the world’s fastest police car.
The Bugatti Veyron took the world number 1 place, getting up to speeds of 407kmph.
Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander in Chief of Dubai Police, received the Guinness certificate on Monday.
The record was previously held by the United States with a Lamborghini
Which gets up to speeds of 360kmph.
The Dubai Police fleet includes: McLaren MP4-12C, Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari FF, Mercedes SLS AMG, Roush Mustang, Bentley Continental GT, Audi R8 V01 Plus, Aston Martin One-77, Nissan GTR and Mercedes SL36 AMG. Also included are the BMW M6 Gran Coupe and Mercedes G36 AMG, modified by Brabus.
