Dubai Police Just Foiled A Major International City Jewellery Heist Worth AED 3 MILLION
Dubai Police have foiled a jewellery heist worth AED3 million.
The robbery happened last Wednesday morning at 10am, the masked gang – a group of five men – broke into a jewellery store in Dubai International City. The burglars used pepper spray on staff before locking them into the washroom according to a post on the Dubai Police Facebook page.
The Dubai Police CID unit successfully foiled the robbery within 48 hours, arrested the masked gang and recovered the stolen goods.
By closely monitoring the situation the police managed to nab the entire gang within two days.
Three of the men were arrested in Al Ain and two in Al Ruwais
“In a sting operation, the Dubai Police have arrested a five-member gang within 48 hours after they had robbed gold jewels worth AED3 million from a shop in Al Rashidiya police station jurisdiction area “.
