Dubai Police Foiled An Armoured Vehicle Robbery Worth AED4 MILLION In Less Than 24 Hours

In what seems a bit like an action movie, Dubai Police have caught a gang of thieves who stole more than AED4 million in a robbery…in less than 24 hours.

A money-transportation armoured vehicle was robbed in Rashidiya, when two of the guards on the truck went to use a bathroom. The third guard took the opportunity to take AED4 million worth of the cash and flee the scene, with two other perpetrators.

Dubai Police quickly jumped to action once the crime was reported, and used technology to locate the thieves, and apprehend them.

The armoured vehicle was carrying more than AED20 million.
