Residents Beware: Thieves Are Acting Like Tourists And They Could Rob You

Residents watch out; fraudsters are impersonating tourists according to Dubai Police.

Police have warned residents to be vigilant particularly if you’re approached by strangers ‘acting as tourists’ asking about currencies and exchange rates.

The alert was issued on Twitter by Dubai Police on Saturday evening. It’s unclear if the tweet is in relation to a particular incident.

Stats revealed the UAE has the lowest ranking of crimes related to sexual assault and theft in the world and overall the UAE was ranked as the second safest country to live.
