The Population Of Dubai Could Double In Size As Early As 2027

A study at UAE University has shown that Dubai is one of the fastest growing cities in the world.

Research found that the population of Dubai has grown by an astonishing 1000% in forty years, according to Dr Fayez Elessawy who lead the study which was published by Gulf News.

Figures show the number of non-nationals in the city has risen from 132,371 in 1975 to more than 2.1 million people in 2015.

5 million people by 2027

If growth continues at this rate, the population will double by 2027. Luckily thanks to the clever infrastructure put in place by Dubai government, the city can cope with the population increase.
