Former Dubai Security Chief Supports President Trump’s Travel Ban
In a series of tweets, a former Deputy chairman of Dubai Police, Dhahi Khalfan explained why he supports President Trump’s travel ban and gave his reasons. The U.A.E is one of the safest places in the world, largely because of the systems put in place by Dubai Police.
Earlier this week, a new executive order on immigration to the U.S was introduced. The ban has led Emirates to change their roster to the U.S., students to reconsider their education and it has also included over 1 million U.A.E residents.
“We completely support Trump in his ban on entry to those who may cause a breach in America’s security,”

“Every country has the right to protect its security from anyone who could be dangerous for the safety of its people.”

Although he supports the travel ban, in March last year, Lieutenant General Khalfan warned what might happen should Trump come to power:
“If Trump beats Hillary, that means that the scenario of the clash of civilisations created by Samuel will come to light at the hands of the candidate and al-Baghdadi.”
