The Dubai-Sharjah Traffic Is About To Get A LOT Better VERY Soon

It is going to get a lot easier to get to Sharjah very soon.

An upgrade of the Dubai-Sharjah access on the Emirates Road is expected to be ready by August next year.

This is going to double its existing capacity

The AED 200 million project is going to include a three-lane exit ramp bridge on Emirates Road to Sharjah, widened exits to Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah as well as additional lanes towards Dubai from Maleiha Road in Sharjah.

It was originally scheduled to be ready this month but has been pushed back to next year.

60 per cent of the project is already complete, according to Gulf News.
