A New Public Park: The Biggest Park Dubai Has EVER Seen Has Just Been Announced
Dubai Holding has just signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dubai Municipality to create Dubai’s biggest public park…Yipee! The park will cover a huge 1.4 million square metres which means a public space increase in the city of a whopping 17%.

The Dubailand located park will include 30km paths for walkers, 20km tracks for joggers, 14km cycling tracks and over 7km of nature trails. Kids will be overwhelmed with the 55 playground options and there will be retail space and space for five major events, restaurants and coffee shops.

The new park will encourage outdoor activities and healthy lifestyles
Providing easier access for a bigger number of Dubai residents and tourists to a comfortable outdoor recreational facilities, this park will help people in Dubai improve their fitness levels. Construction on a small scale will commence later in the year.

According to Lootah, the Director General of Dubai Municipality, projects like these enhance Dubai’s global reputation as a premier destination to live, work and visit.
