Dubai’s Very First Floating Water Homes Have Arrived At Dubai Water Canal

Remember the beautiful plan images of water homes to be built or should we say float on Dubai’s waters?

Well, the very first of these projects has sort of been unveiled along the Dubai Water Canal near Business Bay, and it’s pretty exciting.

Yep, this mysteriously-covered floating object is actually one of the first floating homes by Dubai Properties

Could you imagine living there?

Apart from this first floating home, nine others will be moved to the canal as part of the AED1 Billion Marasi Business Bay Project. Reports say Dubai Properties have spent the last couple of weeks shipping them over from FINLAND. 

A floating restaurant and yacht club are expected to launch by September and October 

As you can see, they’re moving pretty fast with these developments and we can’t wait to see how they’ll turn out!
