DXB Flights Were Diverted For A Short Time Today Due To Drone Activity

DXB diverted flights today for 15 minutes due to suspected unauthorised drone activity.

An Emirates spokesperson confirmed to The National; two Emirates flights from Brisbane and Delhi were diverted from DXB to alternate landing points, one to Dubai World Central and the other to Sharjah International Airport.

The flights were diverted between 12.36pm to 12.51pm today, according to the report.

Emirates apologised to passengers following the diversion, stating passengers safety is paramount and offered further assistance to affected passengers.
