DXB Has Topped The List Of Airports Internationally Yet Again

Dubai International Airport, DXB, has taken out yet another accolade – topping the list of international airports for 2017, globally. 

It was the number one choice, for the fourth consecutive year, for passenger traffic. 

DXB’s traffic in 2017 was over 88.2 million passengers – with record-breaking months in January, July and August. 

2017 also saw six new airlines operating out of DXB

SalamAir, Badr Airlines and Air Moldova joined the passenger service, and Emirates and flydubai added new destinations and routes. 

The biggest source of traffic for DXB was India

With 12,060,435 passengers in 2017. 

Second was the UK with 6,466,404 passengers, just beating out Saudi Arabia with 6,364,598 on routes. 

Dubai Airports expects 2018 traffic to exceed 90.3 million, with new focuses on expansions.
