Ed Sheeran Has Been Forced To Cancel Five Concerts After He Fractured His Wrist And Elbow
Yesterday we heard the sad news that Ed Sheeran had fallen off his bike in London and fractured his arm twice.
With a Dubai concert date on the horizon, fans throughout the city were freaking out, wondering if he would be able to perform his scheduled dates.
This morning, he released this update:
(Not to worry Dubai peeps, we’re in the clear, however five cities are not so lucky).
A statement from Ed
“A visit to my doctors confirmed fractures in my right wrist and left elbow that will leave me unable to perform live concerts for the immediate future. Sadly, this means that the following shows will not be able to go ahead as planned: Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong. I’m waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that. Please stay tuned for more details. PS – Ed isn’t typing this as he has both arms casted/bandaged.”

“We have now received an update from the Ed Sheeran team that he is unable to perform for the immediate future. Since Dubai is the last show of the season we have been told that the show is still going ahead as planned.
