JUST IN: The UAE Government Confirms FIVE Day Eid Break For Public Sector

Just in: Public sector holidays have been announced.

The UAE Government has confirmed the Eid Al Fitr holiday via a tweet:

“Following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Cabinet announces Eid Al Fitr holiday for the public sector to start on Sunday 2nd of June, for one week, with work resuming on Sunday 9th of June. #UAEGov“

​This is a five day break for the public sector – amazing!

Earlier this year the UAE Government tweeted the public and private sector vacation days would be unified

However this post clearly states these holidays are purely for the public sector, Eid vacation for the private sector have yet to be announced.
