An 8 Year Old Was Girl Locked In A Bus And Assaulted By Driver Before Being Rescued By Passer By And Police
An eight year old schoolgirl was rescued from a school mini bus after she had fallen asleep and the driver locked her inside.
The driver has been accused of sexually assaulting the young schoolgirl and has been arrested by police.
The girl had fallen asleep on the bus while on the way to school
The girl told police that she had fallen asleep on the early morning journey on Wednesday and did not wake when the other students left the bus.
She told police that she woke to find the driver ‘harassing’ her in a location unknown to the child.
She pleaded with the driver to leave her go but he left the bus and locked the windows and doors with the girl still inside.
A passerby noticed the girl in the bus and contacted the police
The bus was found in Ajman near the bus drivers house.
The police rushed to the scene where they found the girl locked inside the bus, terrified and upset.
They were able to rescue her through a window and take her to safety.
Her parents were contacted and she was taken to hospital for a medical examination.
Reports show that she was not raped but was referred to a psychologist for any trauma she endured.
The bus did not have surveillance cameras or a supervisor for the students
The driver was arrested but denies all allegations claiming that he did not know the girl was on the bus.
An investigation is underway.
