This Famous Lebanese Designer Has Just Been Given The First Ever Dubai Star
When news broke that Downtown Dubai will get its own version of Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, featuring around 10,000 celebrities AND influencers, people were SHOOK.
And now, as it turns out, the first celebrity to get their own star has been revealed.
Famed Lebanese fashion designer, Elie Saab has been honoured with the first ever Dubai Star

The star was presented to him at the event where Emaar announced an EXCLUSIVE collaboration with Saab on its Emaar Beachfront project in Dubai

Mohamed Alabbar, Emaar chairman, described the designer as “the pride of the Arab world, and a fascinating international success story”
Dubai Stars will be unveiled in October and will initially have 400 featured celebrities who will launch their respective star
It’s estimated that Dubai Stars, at its completion, will have over 10,000 stars, about four times the number of stars than Hollywood Walk of Fame
No doubt, come 2020, it will be one of the most visited tourist attractions in the city.
