Following a ban on electronics any bigger than an average mobile phone on flights from the UAE to the US, Emirates and other airlines are acting fast to ensure they don’t lose trade from business clients.
Emirates first introduced this handy measure ensuring all customers could keep their laptops and tablets until the moment they board the flight
Emirates first introduced a laptop and tablet service which is available to customers in all classes. It allows customers to keep their laptops and devices right up until they board the plane, from there crew stow the laptops which are then returned on arrival. A video (below) detailing the measure was released last week.
This still meant guests would be without their laptops for the duration of the journey, so now Emirates have gone one step further to ensure the satisfaction of guests…
Emirates will hand now out Microsoft Surface tablets on flights from Dubai to the US. From April 5th, First and Business Class passengers are able to borrow tablets on board Emirates’ US-bound flights.
