Confirmed: The UAE WILL Send Its First Astronaut To Space This Year
12 years after developing the UAE National Space Sector, today marks an important day in UAE space history.
A landmark move was announced on Twitter via HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makoum Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
And it’s official:
The UAE is sending its FIRST EVER astronaut to space. The agreement was confirmed via an agreement with the Russian Federation.
The first Emirati astronaut will travel to the International Space Station in the coming months
