The UAE Ruler Spoke To Emirati Astronauts A Day Ahead Of The Monumental Space Mission
Wednesday, September 25 will be a historic day in the UAE.
For the first time, an Emirati astronaut will undertake a mission to the International Space Station, ISS.
And HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces has wished them well.
On Tuesday, he called Hazza Al Mansoori and Sultan Al Neyadi. Al Mansoori was the astronaut who has been chosen to make the journey and Al Neyadi is serving as his backup.

Al Mansoori also Tweeted “We promise you to raise the name of the UAE high in space, and be the best ambassadors for our country and the Arab world”
