An Anonymous Emirati Man Has Donated An Incredible AED100,000 To Help Dubai prisoners
An anonymous Emirati man has donated AED100,000 to Dubai prisoners.
The sum will help prisoners who, at the end of their jail terms, are unable to purchase air tickets home.
Part of the Tafreej Karba initiative to aid prisoners, this is the second time the man has made the same donation, which is in line with the Year of Zayed.
The donations will “give the prisoners a chance to go back home and start their lives afresh” and “bring joy to the prisoners and their families,” according to Dr Mohammed Al Murr, director-general of the general department of human rights via the Khaleej Times.
