Etisalat Has Released A Statement On Internet Calling Plans
Etisalat has released detailed information regarding the two internet calling plans available.
C’Me and BOTIM are both available on iOS and Android and offer unlimited app to app voice and video service according to the report.
The plans start from AED50 and are available to all Etisalat subscribers including prepaid, postpaid and e-Life home plans.
This does mean however, that whoever you want to contact will also need to be subscribed to the app.
Starting from AED50
The plans are add ons to your original package and there are two options available
1. Internet Calling Plan for Mobile: app to app video and voice calls through your mobile data plan for AED50 per month
2. Internet Calling Plan for eLife: app to app voice and video calls from your home eLife Wi-Fi for AED100 per month, all devices in you home can connect.
Both apps meet VoIP requirements, unlike Skype which was officially banned last week
The report stated new VoIP apps could be supported if they meet UAE regulatory framework requirements.
