A European Man Was Arrested For Selling Sex Toys On Facebook In Dubai

A manager has been arrested for selling sex toys via a Facebook page and Facebook ads in Dubai. It is illegal to sell sex toys in Dubai. A report by Gulf News states that two European men in their 40s were apprehended during a raid on an apartment in Dubai Silicon Oasis. Over 150 sex toys were found at the location. The second suspect is accused of failing to report a crime to the authorities. 

One of the men, who remain unnamed, told police…

“Police raided my flat at 11am shortly after I had sold a sex toy to an Arab man. The items were sexual materials and I used to import them from China to sell them in Dubai. I was aware that advertising and selling such items is against the law, but I sold them because I needed money. I had started selling them six months prior to my arrest”
