A Female Tourist Has Been Arrested For Being Caught Walking Naked On A Street In Dubai

A 28-year-old Chinese woman was reported having been seen walking naked in the streets of Dubai.

She told policemen that she had been involved in a sexual affair with the 25-year-old Emirati employee (who had promised to help release her passports that had been confiscated earlier), who was also found with her at the time of arrest, reports Gulf News.

The woman told investigators that she had sex with the Emirati and the man also confirmed the woman’s story to the police

The Dubai Misdemeanours Court has sentenced the couple to three months in jail and the Chinese defendant has also been handed a deportation order.

However, the Appeal Court later accepted the woman’s appeal and reduced her three-month imprisonment to one month (citing leniency grounds) and upheld her deportation.

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old man has lodged a separate appeal, pleading not guilty and requested that his punishment be overturned.

The defendant’s lawyer has argued that his client only admitted to consensual sex out of the fear of losing his job.

A ruling will be heard soon.
