A Ferrari 458 Was Stolen From Outside A Palm Jumeirah Hotel
A Ferrari 458 was stolen from the parking of a Palm Jumeirah hotel.
But the fast-acting Dubai Police managed to retrieve the car in just one day.
The car, which is worth over AED1 million was reported stolen on October 13 from a hotel parking lot, according to a report in Gulf News.
It was well planned out
Four men in total were involved in the theft.
Two stole the car and sold it to another for AED200,000; under a fifth of it’s retail value.
The car was then sent to a nearby Emirate, where the men planned to dismantle the car and sell the spare parts for cash.
It took a day before the owner realised his Ferrari was gone
However Dubai Police managed to track the car through CCTV footage in just one day.
“Dubai is a safe city and this is part of our job to ensure security and make tourists and residents feel safe in the city”
