The First Emirati Woman To Reach The North Pole Is Giving A Talk In Dubai Tomorrow
Breaking all stereotypes, Elham Al Qasimi, not only became the first Arab woman to ski to the North Pole in 2010, but she was also the first UAE national to do so.
The whole journey took almost three weeks for Elham to complete, and she carried all the supplies she needed on a sledge.
She’s telling her story tomorrow
Elham wants to share her inspirational story with the public on Monday April 9 at the Ladies With Zest event at Cove Beach.
She will be speaking alongside two other women, Saja Kamal who is a Saudi Female football player and Amna Al Haddad, a UAE weightlifter.
