You Will Actually Be Able To Take A Flying Taxi Around Dubai As Soon As July This Year
Passengers (who are brave enough) will be able to get from A to B around Dubai in a flying taxi service as soon as July this year.
Each vehicle can seat one passenger
These drones have the ability to hold one passenger and, when folded up, each vehicle has can fit into a car parking space, so you can imagine how small they are going to be.
Ehang, a Chinese tech company, are working with the RTA to produce the drones and they’re currently running tests on the vehicles.

The vehicles are safe and energy-efficient
With the launch of these passenger drones and the Hyperloop, a vacuum type transport system that moves at nearly airline speed, Dubai is at the forefront of innovative transport systems globally.
With a battery that lasts for just 30 minutes the vehicles won’t get you far, but each trip will be traffic free so consider these the new fastest way to get around the city.
