You Can Get Free Parking Permanently In The UAE But There’s One Catch

If there was ever a reason to switch to an electric car (apart from doing your bit for the environment), here is it.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced 220 free slots for electric cars will be introduced across the city for 2018, according to Gulf News.

Slots in both paid and unpaid areas will be reserved for electric vehicles, and they’re already being rolled out along Sheikh Zayed Road.

The slots are clearly marked for electric vehicles and there are fines of AED1,000 for drivers of regular vehicles who take up the slots.

Last year, the RTA announced six brilliant initiatives for drivers of electric cars.
