Temperatures To Drop Below Freezing In Parts Of The UAE This Weekend
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) have warned that there will be a significant drop in temperatures this weekend in the UAE and other parts of the Arabian Gulf due to strong winds bringing cold air mass coming in from Iran. Temperatures will average 20 degrees celsius across the country but are forecasted to be 0 degrees in Jabal Jais and could drop below freezing. It could even snow in the mountains and people are warned not to go to the beaches as waves will be over 14ft offshore.
