Game Of Thrones Season 8 To Feature These Massive Changes

Game of Thrones has graced our screens for over six years; there have been highs and there have been lows, and now there are only six short hours left before it will finish forever. *Sobs*

Now, fans are told to expect changes to the upcoming and final season, according to GoT’s John Bradley (Samwell Tarly).

In an interview with TV Guide, he was careful to avoid spoilers, but revealed season 8 will ‘push’ the main characters into unfamiliar territory…

“Each of the characters this year is placed in a completely alien environment at some point in the season that they’ve never been placed in before. The thrill is seeing how they react to it and how they respond…

“This season, I think, more than any other is stretching these characters.”

Filming of Season 8 began back in October, and he admits the pressure is on to shake things up a bit: “This is our eighth season, and we are kind of feeling the pressure to get it right because we want to satisfy people. We want to give people a payoff that they’re going to be happy with.”

At the end of Season 7, we saw Jaime Lannister leaving King’s Landing; Jon and Daenerys on their way to Winterfell; Sam leaving the Citadel; and White Walkers made it beyond the wall. Surely setting us up nicely for new location changes in the Season 8…

Although an air date hasn’t been announced, fans are predicting a release sometime in 2019.
