The global winner of the Wings For Life run claimed victory in Dubai yesterday, with a whopping 92km.
Aron Anderson won the fundraising competition at the Dubai event up against runners around the world, which raised 6.8 million euros.
Emily Waugh also won broke the women’s record in the UAE with a staggering 43.01km.
Wings For Life helps raise money for spinal cord research
100% of the proceeds are donated to charity.
The race concept is not a set distance, rather a catcher-car sets off after runners and gradually speeds up catching the runners – anyone caught is out of the race. The last person caught wins.
