Google Play Books Store Offers Its HIGHEST Discount Ever In Support Of UAE’s Year of Reading Initiative
We’re hoping you already know 2016 is the year of reading.
It was declared by the president, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in December last year with the aim being to create a generation of book lovers. The UAE also wants to strengthen its position as a global capital for culture and knowledge.
Google Arabia has stepped in with something that will bring UAE closer to its goal
With support from Emirates Airlines, Google Play Books store is offering customers its highest discount ever starting today.
Readers can get 50 top-selling Arabic books at a 90% discount. There are other books available at a 10% discount too. While this offer doesn’t apply to books in English, we think it’s a great starting point.
Some of the titles you can find there include Azazeel by Youssef Ziedan which won the International Prize for Arabic Fiction as well as books by authors Naguib Mahfouz and Ibrahim Essa.

The offer is valid for the next four weeks…
It is valid across nine countries – UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt – in the Google Play Store on desktop and Android.
