HH Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Zayed Welcomed The Two Imams From Christchurch Following Tragic Incident

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, welcomed Sheikh Gamal Fouda the Imam of Al Noor Mosque, and Sheikh Alabi Lateef the Imam of Linwood Mosque at Christchurch in New Zealand yesterday.

The Imams were witness to the heinous terrorist attacks in Christchurch, New Zealand in which 49 people were killed.

The mass shooting occurred at two mosques in the city of Christchurch, which also left many injured.

He received and lauded the two for their remarkable representation of Islam’s true representation

Friendly discussions were exchanged between His Highness and the two Imams, wherein His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed praised them for adding value to Islam’s image: one that is instilled with tolerance co-existence and peace.

The two Imams thanked the UAE on its efforts in promoting peace and tolerance among the Muslim community
