HH Sheikh Mohammed Shared A Heartwarming Diwali Greeting To The World

On Thursday, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai shared a beautiful greeting for all those celebrating Diwali in the world and it was just the sweetest thing ever.

The holy festival of Diwali, is a MAJOR Indian four-to-five day-long festival of lights that began on October 25 and will continue till October 29. Deepavali marks the occasion when families and friends light up their homes and streets with lanterns or diyas (candles), distribute sweets and organise auspicious prayer ceremonies.

Millions of Indians residing in the UAE celebrate the grand festival right here in the city with their loved ones.

HH Sheikh Mohammed tweeted out the touching Diwali greeting to all those celebrating around the world on behalf of the people and residents of the UAE

The sweet message by the Vice President and Ruler of Dubai had incited a number of lovely responses on Twitter

Earlier this week, the Dubai Airport also welcomed passengers into the country with a SPECTACULAR performance paying homage to the festival of lights

The killer pop-up dance performance was enacted at the DXB airport on 22 October.

Residents in Dubai further witnessed a full-blown firework, dance and musical light show extravaganza at Dubai Festival City

A number of GRAND events have been organized for Dubai residents throughout the auspicious week to celebrate Diwali.
