A 10km Hyperloop Will Be In The UAE By 2020
You’ve heard much talk about the Hyperloop, the transportation system that promises to bring you from Abu Dhabi to Dubai in just 12 minutes, and now some concrete dates have been released.
A 10km system Abu Dubai could be in place by 2020 according to an agreement signed on Wednesday between Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HyperloopTT) and Aldar Properties.
The first route will run on land owned by Aldar Properties to the new the Al Ghadeer community by the Dubai, Abu Dhabi border, a location that’s 20km from Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport and 40km from the Dubai Expo 2020 site.
The project is expected to eventually be extended to Yas Island, but they hope to complete the first project in time for EXPO 2020 according to a reports.
