Burgers in Dubai, are they overpriced? The analysis takes into account costs and fees that an average restaurant goer probably doesn’t consider when snubbing their nose at the price of a burger, and concludes that margins are slim for many operators out there.
AED 50 for a burger…
You probably pay the guts of AED 50 for a burger, the Food Sheikh (who’s real identity remains a mystery) acknowledges that most then assume the restaurant industry makes a tidy profit on that price.
But, alas that is not always the case. And if you consider all costs and outgoings, the margin in the f&b industry is relatively low.
