Until now, DEWA required you to cancel your account, settle your bill, request your deposit and then pay a new deposit upfront, but thanks to information released yesterday, these rules are now obsolete.
The service ‘move it’ will automatically transfer your account, including deposit, from your old location to your new.
What do you need to do?
All you need to do is submit the Ejari tenancy contract for the new premises.
The hassle free service eliminates the need to source all your documents once again and pay the new deposit upfront while the old is being issued.
