Italy Has Just Fined Etihad Airways And British Airways Over AED4 Million

A watchdog in Italy has just fined two airlines for not sufficiently informing customers booking online that the return journey of a roundtrip ticket would be cancelled if the customer fails to travel on the first leg of the journey.

Both Etihad Airways British Airways received the fines which amount to one million euro, or just over AED4 million according to a statement. 

Emirates were applauded for their efforts

Making rules transparent and clear for customers booking online is the goal of the watchdog who welcomed the efforts of Emirates, Iberia and KLM for the transparency of their rules.
