The Tragic FZ981 Crash: FlyDubai Joined Memorials In Russia And Dubai A Year After The Tragedy And It’s Truly Touching

FlyDubai, a Dubai-based airline, joins the memorials being held in Russia and Dubai for plane FZ981 that crashed last year. 

On Sunday marked the one-year anniversary of the plane crash in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.  

Families, colleagues and friends came together to remember the lives lost

Over 50 passengers and seven FlyDubai crew members died in the crash, accumulating to a total of 62 people during the aborted landing.

“Today offers a poignant reminder of the tragic loss of flight FZ981. Our hearts go out to the families of the passengers and crew members who are mourning loved ones. At this time of reflection, we hope the memorials offer a degree of comfort to the families who continue to grieve. I would like to offer my sincere thanks to the officials and authorities in Rostov-On-Don and my colleagues at flydubai who have made these memorials possible.”
