Lots of exciting news streaming from the royal household on Monday afternoon, and it’s all via Twitter.

Not surprising, seeing as the CEO and founder of Twitter is in town on a #tweep journey and he received a royal welcome by Dubai royals and UAE customs.

Two of the major updates included the recently married Deputy Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum annoucing a new Twitter account AND Jack Dorsey, the CEO of one of the world’s most popular social media platforms gifted a book to HH Sheikh Mohammed, Dubai’s Ruler, according to the Khaleej Times.

HH Sheikh Mohammed has been on Twitter for a decade and is one of the most followed world leaders

With nearly ten million followers, his tweets are a constant source of inspiration and knowledge for residents

HH Sheikh Maktoum showed Dorsey previous books written by Dubai’s leader during their meeting

The book is a collection of tweets from Dubai’s leader, although it’s unclear whether it will be printed for the general public

HH Sheikh Mohammed also welcomed Jack Dorsey to the UAE via Twitter
