A Mega AED5BILLION Island Expansion Is Coming To Abu Dhabi And It Sounds Like A Dream

Exciting news from the capital- A mega island expansion is coming!

Jubail Island is expected to cost AED5billion and it will be ready for inhabitants 2022.

The new destination is 4,000 hectares and will feature living, retail and entertainment but developers are also working to safeguard the local environment ensuring acres of sprawling mangroves and coastal estuaries are left untouched…dream!

Jubail Island will eventually be home to between 5,000 and 6,000 people

And developers of the 400-hectare island promise it will support natural wildlife; find it between Yas Island and Saadiyat Island, and minutes from the city centre.

The island already has an Instagram account and promises to be THE destination of 2022.

Only 15% of the island will be redeveloped, ensuring the rest is kept natural where local wildlife including gazelles, sea turtles and flamingos can roam
