The Reaction To This Fake Picture Of Kendall Jenner Wearing A Burka In Dubai Is Shocking And Uncalled For
Model of the moment Gigi Hadid is in Dubai right this very minute promoting her Tommy Hilfiger collaboration - the TommyXGigi collections.
Social media has been so excited about her arrival - she was here once before for New Years 2014 with her uber-famous squad, which included her then boyfriend Cody Simpson, Kendall Jenner and Selena Gomez...they made a 'low-key' (impossible if you're this lot) visit to the UAE.
An Instagram snap posted yesterday got us thinking Kendall had returned to Dubai aswell
But all may not be as it seems
The Instagram shot, posted by DJ and producer DJ Neptune looks like a bit of a fake. He's possibly having a laugh or possibly trying to cash in on some of that endless Kardashian/Jenner fame...either way DJ Neptune sent Twitter into a bit of a frenzy this morning.
The worst thing about it? Kendall was getting trolled for wearing a burka in the shot....when she was never even here
The rumour-mill is in a continuous swirl when it comes to this famous clan, so as expected, the moment the picture was published, Twitter released its mighty claws on the model. A lot of the tweets aren't suitable for Lovin Dubai (which means they're reallllllly harsh) but here are some of the ones we can post.
People should do their research before jumping to conclusions
Kendall Jenner is trash. Using a religious thing to play "undercover" its stupid, dress code in Dubai doesnt force you to wear Niqab— m loves sana (@mylovelyzayn) October 10, 2016
kendall wearing a hijab is not "fashion", it's offensive on so many levels and just bc SHE wore it, doesn't mean it's okay— ezza (@pinkfloydharold) October 10, 2016
How can Kendall Jenner think it's okay to wear a burka and the fact that they wrote as caption "undercover" as if women wear the burka-— eden🇨🇩🇨🇲 (@lcstangels) October 9, 2016
So basically if @KendallJenner wears a burka it's high fashion and when Muslim women wear it they get attacked and called a terrorist— Labiba (@labibaaa_) October 9, 2016
